A uniform title is a standard, publicly agreed title for a work. In this project, we follow Karl Potter's Encyclopedia of Philosophy, the New Catalogus Catalogorum and the Library of Congress Name Authority list, in that order.
The uniform title can only be edited by someone with superuser rights.
This is where you record the uniform name of a person, together with their formal relationship to the work. Uniform names are those that are verified against Karl Potter's Encyclopedia of Indian Philosophy, the New Catalogus Catalogorum, or the Library of Congress authority lists (in that order). If there is still uncertainty, refer to printed editions or other sources, but be sure to record the source of your name-authority information.
